swisspro AG was founded in October 1999 by Johann Jann, and one year later Mauro Dal Bosco became an equal partner. From an initial staff of 14, swisspro has grown to around 1,000 employees, including 140 apprentices. It has been part of the BKW Building Solutions network since 2019.

In October 2021, the two founders relinquished their operational management and assumed a strategic function within the BKW Building Solutions Group. The management of the swisspro companies was handed over into the hands of long-standing, established regional managers who will continue to write the swisspro success story.

Emerging from swisspro Solutions AG, swisspro Automation AG focuses on state-of-the-art technologies and comprehensive services around digitalization and IoT of buildings.

From planning and execution to handover, operational optimization and maintenance, it ensures the smooth interaction of control and management systems.

In doing so, it draws on the expertise and know-how of around 250 employees from the network of the Automation division of BKW Building Solutions and is at the same time part of the swisspro group of companies operating throughout Switzerland.
